Why?

I loved this concept when it first debuted. I'm fascinated by how the internet has changed since then, both for better and worse. This project is my way to engage with this history and the envolving internet. I wanted to find out: can this even work in 2022? How does the UI need to change now that there are smart phones? Additionally, I wanted to engage with cryptocurrency to promote its use as currency, and because it makes sense for a global audience.

Why Bitcoin?

I wanted this project to be accessible to the masses, and Bitcoin has the most brand recognition of any cryptocurrency.

Why 1000 bitcoin?

I chose to stick to the premise that if this project is going to be successful, it needs to be on a grand scale.

Why variable pixel cost?

This is an important aspect of the project to me. First off, it incentivizes early participants. Additionally though, I'm interested to see what effect it might have if sales take off.

What will you do with the money?

My goal is to pay off my student debt. If all the pixels are sold I would like to focus on using the money to support deaf schools as well as services and advocacy for the deaf.
